Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: [DATE]

Sustainable Transportation is reader-supported. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This is how we fund independent testing.

Our promise

Commissions never influence our rankings, ratings, or verdicts. We decide which products win before we look at what any program pays, and we regularly recommend products that earn us nothing. We do not accept payment for reviews, for higher placement, or for favorable coverage. If a manufacturer loans us a product to test, we disclose it, and it does not earn a better score.

FTC disclosure

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines, we disclose that we have a material connection to some of the products and services mentioned on this site: we may be compensated when you purchase through our links. We include a clear disclosure near the top of any page that contains affiliate links.

Programs we participate in

Sustainable Transportation is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

At present Amazon is the only affiliate program we participate in. If we join another, we will list it here before publishing any link to it. Every affiliate link on this site carries the rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute, and a disclosure appears above the first affiliate link on every page that contains one.
